We encourage you to check out our Chapel topics, and engage with your teens about what they are learning. Chapel is meant to be a safe place where tough questions can be asked and addressed. By engaging your teens in a similar fashion, we can partner together to serve them. If you have any questions or comments about Chapel or other aspects of the Spiritual Life program please call us at 905-646-9884.
Semester 2 Junior Chapel Schedule
We have completed our survey of the Old Testament, and are now doing a survey of the New Testament.
Semester 2 Senior Chapel Schedule
Feb.- Mar. Senior chapels focus on God’s love for broken people and how we can work through the challenges we face in relating to ourselves and to others. We are using the story of Graeden, a fictional high school student who lives in St. Catharines, to touch on some of the challenges that life brings. We will then look at how culture and the Bible bring differing perspectives on how to deal with these challenges.
April What do healthy relationship look like? In April we are looking more closely at how to develop healthy relationships by defining boundaries and establishing healthy ways of dealing with conflict.
May God is relentless in His pursuit of people. The life of David in the Old Testament becomes a powerful example of how deeply we are loved in spite of our weakness. During the month of May we will take a closer look at God at work in the details of David’s life, and how we can find the same relentless love at work in our lives.
June In order to live meaningful lives we need to be able to clearly answer questions related to Origins, Meaning, Morality and Destiny. As we conclude this year we will focus our discussions on these four questions in an attempt to help students articulate a clearly held worldview.
